Two days in Florence, an unforgettable experience, beyond every private tour

Two days in Florence, if you only have a weekend to spend in the Renaissance’s Capital, book this enticing private tour, discover all the highlights of Florence and live several charming experiences!

Day 1 -Afternoon

HIGHLIGHTS OF FLORENCE AND BOAT TOUR

In the late afternoon (5 pm) you will meet your private guide and discover the town’s best known treasures such as the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, the squares and the monuments. Explore the town center from an extraordinary perspective. An excellent introductory tour dedicated to those who want to know all the facts and secrets of two thousands years of Florentine history.

Your day will continue with the Boat tour: a view of Florence in a different key. Leave the crowds behind and feel the gentle breeze of the Arno River. Don’t just visit the world-famous Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge); float under it! The boats are moved and steered by a long pole that is pushed against the shallow sandy bottom of the river; they have an important historical significance dating back to the Medieval times. Sit back and relax as you float by the world’s most breathtaking monuments. At the end of the boat tour a private minivan awaits you for a panoramic tour of the city that will end with a suggestive aperitivo “with view”, looking over the city and the Duomo.

COOKING IN TUSCANY

9 Am: Departure for a day dedicated to the excellent Tuscan cuisine, riding over enchanted hills lined with vineyards and dotted with olive trees, which are the perfect hosts in this journey to the tiny hilltop town where you will reach a quaint family-run farm estate. After a visit of the house with its amazing wine cellars, a cooking class awaits you. The aim is to enlighten you on the best traditional Tuscan recipes, and so much more.  Among the house specialties there is its famous homemade pasta: pappardelle, tagliatelle or tagliolini etc…

Visitors also get to prepare different types of bread, as well as pizza and ciaccini (a very special kind of bread pasta): all this will be enjoyed together with a variety of honey, pecorino cheese and Cinta Senese salami. The cooking class includes main courses: meat dishes, vegetable pies and various flans. All these flavorful recipes are accompanied by the estate’s selection of prestigious wines, from the refreshing aperitif to the exquisite dessert wine.  The cooking class and the friendly atmosphere, all accompanied by excellent wines, will leave you with fond memories of this special day.
