Wine tour from Florence to the Chianti side, your perfect vacation under the Tuscan sun

Tour Code: RVT2

Are you ready to join the best wine tour from Florence to the Chianti side? Welcome to the “Chianti Classico” region, where you will enjoy a guided experience among vineyards and olive groves. If you’re looking for a fun wine tasting, in March, April (also available on Sundays), prepare yourself for a stunning adventure, a “grape escape” just outside Florence. At the end of the wine tour we will visit the Capital of the Renaissance in a charming walking gourmet tour.

A Minivan will pick you up and take you to the Chianti area. This spectacular wine route, known as the ”Chiantigiana”, offers a view of rolling hills and enchanted landscapes dotted with medieval villages. We will discover several fascinating hilltop towns like Greve in Chianti.

You will surely love the organic farmhouse where the wine tastings will take place, an ancient structure famous for its homemade products. Make your wishes come true: savor the tasty balsamic vinegar too, a unique symbol of the florentine surroundings!

Wait, that’s not all, our next stop is another traditional farmhouse where we can taste more fine products typical of the Chianti.

Back in Florence we will join a tour for foodies. On our way through the city center we will make gourmet pit stops in downtown typical bars, shops and eateries. As well as being a delight for our eyes, this little excursion, in which wine and food are the undisputed protagonists, offers us a way to tickle our palates. Taste an assortment of foods such as cheese and salami, even better with a glass of fine red wine in one of the numerous quaint Osterias. And we mustn’t forget the “Vin Santo” accompanied by the delicious almond cookies from Prato!

Finally, to top the tour off, savor a wonderful gelato made by a true professional with all the freshest ingredients. The tour ends at roughly 7:30pm. Get the most of Florence and its countryside in a day!
