Walk through the city center and reach the famous Boboli Gardens - created for the pleasure of the Medici family - with its statues, fountains and artificial grottos; we will unveil Palazzo Vecchio, where the Middle Ages meet the Renaissance era in an intermingling of art and politics; and we will end our guided visit in Piazza del Duomo at the Baptistery, the very place where Dante was baptized and a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture in the region.
Your day will continue with a panoramic tour. A drive along the hills that cradle Florence is a must. Take in the breathtaking beauty of what is known worldwide as the soul of Renaissance from the lofty heights of Piazzale Michelangelo. Enjoy Ponte Vecchio and Santa Maria del Fiore from this extraordinary perspective. The driver will leave you downtown at about 6:30 pm for an apericena (wine or cocktail, buffet with appetizers) in a location overlooking the amazing Duomo.
