The Itinerary: You can easily modify or change the itinerary and the starting time of your personal tour; your interests are the focus of our attention. We can for example elaborate a programme that is particularly suitable for children, adolescents, and for families who wish to discover Florence and its territory. The standard schedule includes an introduction to Florence with visit to Piazza Duomo, the medieval district of Dante, the Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi courtyard and the Ponte Vecchio. On request is possible to book lunch in typical Florentine restaurant or osteria.

Cancellation policy*: Cancellations received via info@florenceandtuscanytours.com at least 30 days before the date of the tour will be reimbursed without any fee. A fee of 25% of the total amount is applicable if the cancellation is received via e-mail between the 29th and 15th day before the date of the tour. No reimbursement will be paid in cases of cancellations received less than 15 days before the date of the tour. If the booking is not paid within the deadline stated in the confirmation of the tour, Florapromotuscany has the right to cancel the booking without any further notification to the client.

In the late 18th and early 20th century the hills of Bellosguardo represented the most sought after area of the city for many famous foreign artists, especially English, who settled here. The villas built on the hills south of the Arno River, in the countryside at just a stone's throw from the city, offered everything these foreigners could wish for: antiquity, exquisite architecture, history and, as Henry James, the famous author, observed, economic rent. In these luxurious hillside homes, numerous artists, writers and wealthy foreigners, both English and American, in search of a golden past, relived the Renaissance era as they had imagined it. Walk with your private guide along the Bellosguardo hillside, down the narrow streets that hold the magnificent homes in which they once lived. Get a feel of the atmosphere that inspired their poetry and prose, and, as Henry James underlines, the impressions, emotions and life style of these “infatuated aliens”.
