The Medici family owned splendid villas in the Florentine territory and used them to escape the bustle and noise of the town. They were richly decorated with important artworks, such as Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, once displayed in the Villa of Castello. The gardens of these villas become very important during the Renaissance and become an integral part of each residence. Richly adorned with artworks and marvels of all kinds, villas and gardens are now open to the public. Please contact us for suggestions and proposals. Our itineraries include the hire of a chauffeur-driven car and a lunch break in a Tuscan restaurant.

Florence attracts large numbers of School trips but is not always presented to students adequately or engagingly. The city’s past - Roman, Mediaeval (Dante’s time), and Renaissance - offer a good opportunity to deepen the students' understanding of what is contained in their school syllabi. These topics can be discussed in a lively and entertaining manner if presented with the right approach.
Talking paintings, riddles, treasure hunts and other plays are playful experiences that draw even the youngest students into the study of artistic and historical themes.
