After the Walking Tour of Historical Center (See Description of "Close-up Florence) we continue... For more than seven centuries, the Palazzo Vecchio (the Old Palace) has been the recognizable symbol of the political life in Florence. The guided visit includes the spectacular Salone dei Cinquecento designed by Giorgio Vasari for the Grand Duke Cosimo I, the rooms dedicated to the Medici Popes Leo X and Clement VII, the famous room of the Elements, the apartment of Eleonora, and the numerous areas decorated by the masterpieces of celebrated artists of the Renaissance such as Michelangelo, Donatello and Verrocchio.

Time:1:45 pm CLOSE-UP FLORENCE, then continue with guide for 3:30 pm PALAZZO VECCHIO Duration:3.15 hours
Meeting point:Piazza della Repubblica near the “Caffè Le Giubbe Rosse” (Participants are requested to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour
Fees:€40 per person (€ 20 children under 11)

Your booking will be confirmed as soon as the minimum number of participants has been reached. Nonetheless, in order to hold your place, you need to have paid for the tour. As soon as the tour has been confirmed you will be sent a voucher, which you need to show to the Florence and Tuscany Tours staff at the meeting point. Should the tour not reach the minimum number of participants and therefore be cancelled, you will have a full reimbursement for this tour.
